ABOUT THE EVENT
Serving for Shelter is a Pickleball Tournament fundraiser benefitting Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County.
The tournament is played in a round-robin style with double elimination. It will be divided into two segments based on skill level.
Matches will be made by skill level (highest skill level on the team) and age group.
This is a coed double tournament. Players can register as singles or the same gender or mixed gender team. Single players without a partner will be matched with a partner of the closest skill level.
All funds raised will directly benefit Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County. Help us give more Bulloch County families an affordable place to live!
CASH PRIZES
The winning teams for each division will receive a cash prize. There are two divisions total, with one winner per division.
DIVISIONS
The teams will be divided into two divisions. One division will be for more experienced players, while the other division will be for less experienced players, or players who are new to the game.
SKILL LEVELS
Beginner: 1 year or less
Experienced: more than 1 year
TEAMS
The amount of experience determines skill level, and the youngest age on the team determines the age group. Age groups are 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+, 80+.
Teams may consist of members of the same gender or different genders. Individuals will be matched with a player of the closest skill level.
