Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry that is dedicated to helping low-income families become stronger, more stable, and self-reliant through shelter. We do this by building homes using volunteer labor with donated or discounted materials and by providing low-income homebuyers a low- or no-interest mortgage. All homeowners work alongside Habitat staff and volunteers to build their home. Through our partnerships, we have built or rehabbed over 57 houses and are currently working to revitalize a neighborhood adjacent to South Main Street, also known as “the ‘Boro Blue Mile.”
Our Mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County believes that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live and is welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, or political views.
Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has worked in partnership with families to build, rehabilitate or repair homes around the world, providing more than 6.8 million people with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
